Advanced Education & Research Donor

Advanced Roofing is proud to have recently become a Governor donor for the FRSA Educational & Research Foundation. The governor level of donorship means a $25,000 or greater donation and supports university-level education, as well as certifiable continuing industry education to promote workplace development, safety education, and employee training. The Foundation also funds research opportunities, such as:

  • New Trends – Green roofs, cool roofs, photovoltaic/solar roof systems, etc.
  • Are Wind Uplift requirements reasonable for all areas of the state?
  • Installation methods and product performance as it relates to Florida’s building codes and insurance rates.
  • University of Florida’s College of Design, Construction and Planning School – Each year the Foundation awards thousands of dollars from the earnings of the FRSA/Earl Blank Fellowship to a university faculty member for roofing-related research.
