Key Responsibilities
- Perform roofing duties associated with roof tear offs: scraping with force, shovelling heavy material, transporting material
- Remove clutter on roof while maintaining a clean and neat work environment
- Transport hot tar from kettle to work area
- Clean and maintain roofing equipment
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Education, Experience, and Skills Required
Education
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, not required
Experience
- 1 year of experience required! We will train you!
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to withstand demands of extreme weather conditions and high temperatures
- Comfortable climbing ladders up to 60 ft tall
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
- Capable of bending over most of the day and working on knees excessively throughout the day
- Able to pass Pre-Employment Drug and Agility screening
- Able to pass a government background check per project requirements
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
- Knowledge of basic roofing tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Working Conditions | Environment | Special Requirements
- Full time onsite
- Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, State and Federal regulations.
