Position Overview
As a Business Development Executive, you’ll lead efforts to identify new opportunities, build strong client relationships, and drive growth across all Advanced Roofing business sectors. Your focus will be on expanding our reach in roofing, solar, and HVAC services while maintaining our reputation for excellence. If you’re passionate about connecting with clients and creating impactful opportunities, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research new business opportunities across roofing, solar, and HVAC markets.
- Build relationships with potential clients, gathering project qualifications and managing accounts.
- Maintain up-to-date client information in CRM systems to ensure accurate sales tracking.
- Explore cross-selling opportunities across all divisions to maximize growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams to stay current on trends, products, and pricing strategies.
- Represent Advanced Roofing at networking events, building strong professional connections.
- Provide timely updates on sales initiatives, leads, and progress to stakeholders.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development (roofing or construction sales preferred).
- Proven success in B2B outbound sales, prospecting, and client account management.
- Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- Self-motivation, a high work ethic, and the ability to meet ambitious goals.
- A valid and insurable driver’s license with the ability to travel within your territory.

Success Metrics
- Generate at least 10 new client leads per month.
- Follow up on new leads the same day and log all opportunities into the CRM.
- Attend 12+ networking events annually and maintain membership in at least two local groups.
- Provide timely responses to client inquiries and issues within 24 hours.
- Achieve cross-selling goals across roofing, solar, and HVAC markets.
