Advanced Roofing Teaches Kids About Commercial Roofing At Broward County Boys & Girls Club General Construction Career Day For 5th Straight Year
Fort Lauderdale, Florida – For the fifth year in a row, Commercial Roofing Company Advanced Roofing volunteered to educate the Boys and Girls Club of Broward County about commercial roofing technologies and construction safety best practices at this year’s General Construction Career Day that took place on July 13th, 2013 at the Thomas Stephanis Unit in Pompano Beach.
The event gave kids the opportunity to have hands-on experience working in a variety of different construction trades under the watchful eye of industry experts.
“Overall it was a great experience to guide these kids into the correct career path. Many kids did not have a clue of what they wanted in life, but after the event, they were inspired for a career path”, mentioned Rocky Zapata, Advanced Roofing Safety Director.
