Marco Island City Hall
When the Marco Island City Hall needed a complete removal of its 15-year-old HVAC system that was failing to cool its building, they selected Advanced Air Systems as the most qualified contractor to get the job done. The project scope of work included completely removing the old traditional split HVAC system and retrofitting the building with a new, Daikin Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) system.
The project took place during business hours, requiring the old air conditioning system to remain in place for the duration of the project to supply air throughout the occupied building. It was a challenge to work around the old air conditioning system while installing the new VRV system. Also, once the old HVAC system was turned off, the new VRV system had to start immediately to supply air to the building. AAS made this a seamless process and prevented the need for temporary spot coolers that would have increased the project cost.
