Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repairs mechanical problems in small machinery or equipment
- Maintains a work area that is clean and safe
- Handles road and service calls
- Assists in other areas as needed
- Maintains repair records
- Uses oral or written communication techniques
- Follows safe waste disposal procedures
- Estimates time or cost for installation, repair, or construction projects
- Tests mechanical products or equipment
- Uses electrical or electronic test devices or equipment
- Uses hand or power tools
- Sets up and operates variety of machine tools
Skills, Experience, and Knowledge Required
Education
- High School preferred
Experience
- 0-2 years of mechanical experience with small parts/engines preferred
Skills & Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
- Successful Pre-Employment Drug and Agility tests
- Requires standing, kneeling, crouching, stooping or crawling, bending, twisting, keeping or regaining balance
- Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls
- Detail Oriented
